The sun shines. The colors are magnificent. My eyes squint in the fiery glare of it. I trot to my tree with a freshly killed rabbit, aware of my quieted surroundings. I ly down, back to the tree, to have a full gaze over the Gomer Plains. The wind was silent, yet the trees shaking. My senses kick into overdrive when I hear a howl. It sounds like my father I think to myself. I ignore the fear churning my stomach, and finish my rabbit. *** Nightfall. The wind has not changed since lunch, and the howling has not ceased. It seems closer each time, untill my ears can hardly take it. I cry out "What do you want with me?" "Calm down, son." Son? "Father? Is it you? Where are you?" "Yes it is I, but I am dead. I am hear to deliver you news from the Wolven Spirits. We are here to say this is your home. Stay here, for it is your destiny. Do not hesitate near strange wolves, and mark your territory each day." "Dead? Destiny?" I choked. My father was dead. He, the one I was trailing, dead. I wanted to ask so many more questions, but the voice resumed. "One last thing Misky, I am proud of you." And the howling faded. I cried, and howled a mourning for my father. But I had to do what was right. This was my territory now, my land. I was to fulfill my father's destiny, no matter who or what comes between it and I.

After recieving the prophecy of my father, I slept, hoping to awake myself from this "dream." It was not a dream, I realized, as I felt pain, a searing agony through my entire body. I went to mark my territory near Chessa Lake, near Kami Beach, and on the twindling Felicia River. Coming back to my tree of shade in the Gomer Plains, I realized this was only my temporary housing. I needed to find a larger more hidden area. I then went out searching, and found a nice isolated wooded area still in the Gomer Plains, but near the Felicia River, so I'd have a plentiful source of water. I didn't move yet though, feeling I needed to bring in the the last day of quiet. The small woods would have lots of animals, thereby not being quiet. But I knew it was the right place, the right place to bring up a pack. As I began to drift into sleep, I heard a rustling in the shrubs. I called out, "Who goes there?" No creature, big or small, would be in my territory unnoticed. Not even who it was.

A small voice quivered. "I-I am Li-illian." it stuttered. I knew this young female must be part of the prophecy. I interrogated her. "Where are you from?" "Who was your old alpha?" "Why are you here?" The wolf called Lillian answered each question with a good answer, seeming prepared for the bolting questions. She knew medicines, things to stop bleeding, everything in that area. Her voice was strong, proving a good wolf. Then she added one last phrase to tie the package. "I think I should share this with you; I've been getting strange dreams, from an elderly since deceased wolf. He told me to come here. He said he knew you." I was speechless knowing my father had spoken to her, and Lillian, a very wise pup, sat down, and did not bother me for the rest of the night. I slept roughly that night, dreaming of Lillian, my father, my new home. I saw that Lillian was part of my future, to help build the pack. The visions also showed me her with another wolf, and plenty of pups. She looked older, as did the other wolf. Then I saw me. Misky, leader of Namir. I looked majestic, strong, with a gorgeous female wolf by my side. The face of Namir depended on me. If I wanted that vision to come true, which it had to, I'd have to work for it. I look back to Lillian. We'd have to work for it.
