I'm a big animal lover too! We have two dogs, one being solely mine, and my brothers got some fish. One dog is a Pomeranian mix, and the other is a Shetland Sheepdog. We used to have a cat, but she recently got killed by either a bobcat or a cougar. Wolves and dogs are my favorite, or really anything in the canid family. ^^

I'm terribly sorry about your cat. It is sad when we lose our best friends. It is unfortunate that it was by a cougar/bobcat. They can sometimes be some of the coolest animals.

I love animals, but wolves in particular (bet you did't know that, right? ^^) Well, where to begin...
I breed, raise, and show rabbits. Currently I have 10 but at the end of August I will have thirty, due to the litters I will have. And 4-H is going on right now, which is why I haven't bred anyone in a while.
We have three dogs, Stone, Billy, and Bree. Stone is my dog, and I rescued him from the shelter (pics later! :]) we aren't sure what kind he is. Billy is our dalmatian, and Bree is my mom's German Shepherd Collie mix (at least that's what we think. she's a rescued dog as well)
I have a pet goat, and her name is Ammy.
We have three cows, Millie, Miles, and Milo.
I have a horse named Cocoa.
We have a 55 aquarium with neon fish in it.
I have two dwarf hamsters, Cheza and Caspi.
We just got our three little pigs today, and I named them Terry, Jerry, and Larry.
...and last but not least, we have a bunch of chickens :]

Yeah. It had to be something along those lines, because we have nothing in our area that is big enough to make the paw marks other than a large feline. And our kitty was buried in a mound of dirt. I think the cougar/bobcat even fed on him a bit. =( Anyways... my little doggie, the sheltie, is named Shelby. Then the pomeranian mix is called Jenna. They are the best, but Shelby is smarter. Heehee. And that's a lot of pets, Fillixe!! I bet its fun. Shelby is entered into the Dog 4-H Fair, and I'm really excited. Dog fair is a lot more... formal, shall we say, than the other animal fairs, and it is one of the hardest. But I think Shelby has a real chance at placing, if I don't get to nervous and mess up. ^^ Good luck with your rabbits!

Oh I know! Dog 4-H is fun. I did obediance one year. They taught me a lot. Stone and I are inseperable. I love him! I'm sorry about your cat, too... that is so sad. But I know what you're feeling. I lost one of my dwarf hamsters, Kaybi, just the other day. She had problems from the beginning :[ She was a peanut, we think (way too small) she had skin problems (flaking, scabbing) and terrible allergies, and she was blind. To make things worse, she wasn't even 6 months old... it was really sad.

I'm jealous of you that can house larger animals. I'm trying to convince my dad to let me have a goat, boot that's not going well xD
He doesn't have any pets, boring. But I will get a dog if my grandad's corgies have babies. He did not promise anything, boot he didn't say no, and let's me talk about it, woot. I would call the puppy Spookie.
Anyway- at my mom's house I have two cats, Kitty and Little Cat. Kitty is mine, and is literally retarded. Her head is crooked. I also have a dog, a alsation called Frankie. She's an older one, about 10, but still a puppy on the inside. I love her so much. Lastly, I have a rat. He is my baby, called Marburg.

Well, getting my goat was a little, uh... shall we say, spur of the moment kinda thing. We were at a livestock auction in Logansport and my dad was getting another cow. But when I saw the gaots I was like, "AW! Dad! We need a goat!" So he got her for me, as a gift :] She an Oberhasli (that is, a breed of dairy goat) So I might breed her. That would be so much fun!
I know whatcha mean about how much you love your dog. We seem to grow so attached to them.

Oh, I don't have nearly as many pets as Fellixe, but I do love mine all the same.
I have three house cats: Callista (Callie), Animal (Annie), and Lucky (Pretty Kitty or Luck-Luck.) All of the cats have their given names (the ones on their collars) but I have my nicknames for all of them. Callista belongs to my mom, and she is a chubby calico. Animal we got from a pet store, and she's a little crazy (thus her name) and Lucky is my kitty. I rescued Lucky as a kitten. She had been living under a porch with her mother and siblings, but the mother was a bit sickly, so the people who owned the house said we could take one of the kittens. I crawled under the porch to get her (I have faint scars on my back from the nails that were under there.) But anyway, Lucky came home with me and I bottle fed her for a couple weeks. Her and I are best buds and she always comes when I call her. She and I get on each others' nerves, of course, but we always get over it.
I also have some fishes. We used to have a lot, but we adopted a dog-faced puffer and it was sick. It killed all of our saltwater fish in one of our tanks. So now we just have about four fish. A three-stripe named Domino (don't ask me why), a clownfish named Nemo (my little cousin named it...lol) and the other two I'm not sure what they are. I have named them however, Shadow and Ebivo (a kind of abbreviation of Ebony and Ivory cuz he's white and black)
I love talking about my pets!! We even have coyotes that run in our yard and in the field next to it. I've followed lots of deer tracks as well.
Well, I think that's about it. I might put pictures up of my kitties later. Although, getting Animal to sit still long enough to snap a photo is going to be interesting. But she does have a weakness for blankets. lol.

Wow... that's quite a story, Selene!! I'd love to meet your kitties. Animal sounds cool. And that's quite a bond that you have with Lucky; getting her to come when called is a pretty good acomplishment.
You got coyotes? And follow DEER TRAILS?! OMG, you sound exactly like me! ;D I live in the high desert; Oregon to be exact. I love studying the deer and rabbits, and though I never get to see a coyote, I love to listen to their songs at night. Do you live somewhere near Oregon?

No, I don't live in Oregon. (lol) I live in Indiana. Coyotes aren't nearly as numerous as the deer, but if I go out at certain times, I can hear them. I know it's coyotes, because they have that distinct yipping quality to their calls. Also, I had two outside cats, Cocoa (Fellixe your horse is named Cocoa right? lol) and Jasmine. I also had a tomcat named Cumin, but my mother made me chase him away because he was spraying our door. Anyway, Cocoa and I were even closer than I am with Lucky. She was a tiger patterned kitty, and kind of small. I'd call her from the doorstep and she'd come running and jump up on my shoulder (I'd be kneeling so she could reach it.) I'd put my hand on her back, and we go walking around on my property (and a lot of the neighbors....oops) Thing is, she was taken by a coyote, it's not possible for it to be anything else. I live just close to the city that it couldn't possibly have been wolves or anything else. And the coyotes had been bad that summer. Anywho, she disappeared and I know there's no way she would have ran off. So, we deduced that it was coyotes.
We got Jasmine about a year later. She had been a housecat/outdoor cat and she had her front claws taken out. (Her owners had to move and she couldn't go with them) Well, we're sure she got eaten too, because she disappeared as well. (This is about the time we decided to get inside cats, because I couldn't take losing another one.) It's kind of sad, but I suppose that's the way things roll.
